Poults are $30 each. We have been working with the Buff for a few years. They are a rare variety that was once popular enough to include in the original APA Standard of Perfection in 1872. Due to the decline in popularity and quality, they were removed in 1915. When we started with them, they were to small and very fragile. We have been working with a few different lines to help improve these traits. We are using the original SOP to help us determine our breeders and what to look for. Fall Fire Farm is leading the way to have this unique variety re-admitted to the APA Standard of Perfection.
